Please join us for a mid-week break to unwind and prioritize your well-being with our Weekly Wellness Event! Today’s theme is “Heart Health” in recognition of February being National Heart Health Month. This month is a great opportunity to emphasize the importance of prioritizing heart health by maintaining a balanced diet, staying active, and managing stress to build a foundation for lifelong well-being and vitality. We will be joined by a Nutrition Educator from Cornell Cooperative Extension to share information on heart-healthy foods and recipes, and provide a sample of a heart-healthy snack.

Below is a description of what to expect at these events:

  • Wellness Activities: engage in mindfulness activities, stress-relief exercises and creative fun
  • Therapy Dogs: Cuddle up with our furry friends for a dose of comfort and joy (Brighton Campus only)
  • Wellness Resources: Explore educational materials and grab free resources to keep you informed and balanced.
  • Self-Care Giveaways: Pick up some treats to help you relax and unwind.

These weekly workshops are the perfect opportunity to step away from your busy schedule, connect with fellow students, and foster a sense of community here at MCC. We hope to see you there!
